CH411 and E419 were dispatched at 4:34am on Wednesday to Shirley Avenue in Mount Vernon on the report of a single family residential structure fire. This was a mutual-aid request from the Mount Vernon Fire Department.
E419 responded to the scene with a crew of six. The crew of E419 assisted with overhaul and suppression.
All FCFD units were back in quarters by 6:12am. The FCFD had a total of nine firefighters respond to this call.
