CH411, R415, G412, BOAT416 were dispatched at 7:33pm on Saturday evening to Dike Road in Mount Vernon on the report of several persons hung up in the river. This was a mutual-aid run with the Mount Vernon Fire Department.
FCFD personnel assisted with several members in water rescue suits in the water, along with shore crews to work a coordinated rescue with the MVFD.
The FCFD had 14 personnel respond to this call, maintaining another crew on station to cover other additional runs in our district.
