Fire Safety Education

The Fredericktown Community Fire District has a long and successful history of fire safety education.  We value this education as a key part of our successful prevention program and are committed to ensuing this is an active section of our department.

Some of our programs that we participate in:

  • Firehouse tours
  • School visits for Pre-K educational facilities within the fire district
  • Fire safety discussions with parents through the local Head Start program
  • “Safety Town” conducted by the Fredericktown Recreation District.
  • Amish Safety Day conducted by the Knox County and Morrow County Health Departments.
  • First Responders Day at Kokosing Campground
  • Truck or Treat at the Fredericktown Methodist Church
  • Truck visits to talk fire safety at area events.
  • National Night Out in Fredericktown
  • Deliver programs to our area Boy Scout and Girl Scouts
